Making wavves

Alright, so Wavves has a new record coming out. Most folks know that, and most folks at this point (thanks to the magic of the internet) have heard the entire thing or atleast a select set of songs. Now me being on the latter side of this sect, I'd just like to first say I've liked what I've heard.

Though, something has changed. Wavves doesn't feel like wavves anymore. The rebelliousness of lo-fi has gone to the way of sleek production. I know the lo-fi gimmick (if you will) would have gotten old, but I think that it added something. What? We may never know. The readers will be their own judge on this one.


I own no rights to either of these songs, and I wasn't the one to alter the "fuzzed" out version. Now, if you want to make the new wavves record sound like old wavves you can just open up audacity, and push the levels up.
