2010: a Year in the life

(post 52. For those who are counting)

Twelve months ago, I was sitting in this very same room that I’m in, dreaming about my future. I was excited to have on semester of high school left. I was excited to finally be happy with the way my life was going in that year (fuck you 2009). I had a lot going for me, and a good attitude. I was going to run a train on the last semester of high school.

Two weeks after that I was hoping to pass pre-calc and get a d in French. I was loving English and current issues AP. I was starting to stray away from PMHS. I didn’t spend an hour talking to Mr. Chambers every other day (not including after school discussions). I got to sit in on Teverbaugh’s classes and see what I was getting myself into, in terms of career choices.

I also, for one of the first times, was happy to be alone. I was busy with everything and life was looking up. I snuck into school promotions. Applications? Nope. Don’t need’em. I made terrible videos, and got to have fun doing it. I had the high school life that I felt like I should have (minus getting invited to parties or getting to really spend time with people that cared about me).

I didn’t go to prom. Why? I’m an idiot that’s why. I feel like I should have gone. I might go this year, it just depends. I doubt it. Instead of going to prom, I bought a ’55 Desoto grille. I’m not sorry for that decision. It beats the fuck out of a tux, dinner, and dancing (and possibly sex, doubtful but was possible). I did go to prom, and won a TV and a gift card to DQ, making my night highly profitable. Also met someone that reoccurs later in the year. I’ll touch on that. I’ll never forget that night, it rained like a bastard.

I got to spend time with my buddy Eric, who did a ton of work for me, and I got to learn how to mess with stuff. In May he put quarter panels on my car (and inner wheel lips, and a bunch of other stuff.). I owe him a lot. He’s a very cool dude. I practically lived at his house during weekends.

I graduated high school. Somwhere around then, I started this blog. I didn’t tend to it much, I didn’t feel I had to tell anyone what I felt about anything. I didn’t have anyone photograph me on graduation night. I dunno, it was important of me to not care about it, and in hindsight it wasn’t a big deal. Everyone does it. I should have atleast acted like it was a big deal. I should have cared more about preserving memories. My best friend called me brian aubert, and I got to sit next to one of my favorite people.

I also start riding a motorbike. My graduation gift. I started riding my dad’s fxe. He gave it to me. My dad is the nicest person I’ve met. Anyway, I spent a lot of my summer on my fathers motorbike. I used it as a release. I used it to have fun. I dunno how else I used it, but I did.

I crashed a few open houses and friend’s parties on that bike. I loved going to open houses, I’ll probably crash some this spring. I was really excited to see all of my friends graduate and move on in their lives.

I also spent a lot of time in my car this summer. With its new quarter panels and aggressive new look, I just was profiling a lot. And by profiling, I mean just driving around and having fun. Wearing out expensive tires.

Car season kicked off with beatersville. Its massive. It’s a good time. It rained like a motherfucker. My brother rode his pan, chris on his shovel, and Sam on his Honda. I was in my car and couldn’t see shit, I felt sorry for those guys. I made sure to stay slow so my brother was behind me on the way home. Not that he cared, probably pissed him off. Made me sure that he was still upright and okay.

Bummed at the general lack of coverage of my car at GG indy, not that I really care, just no one appreciated it as much as I did. I doubt anyone ever will.

My summer was really kind of boring, but I got to live.

Later in the summer, I decided to lay my bike down on the cheap side. I didn’t hit the tank or anything, just destroyed the clutch assembly. A lot of money later, I was riding again. Essentially all of my money that summer went to rebuilding my bike.

Oh also, I did this odd, seasonal thing, of falling (what I thought was) in love. Maybe it was just lust. It was probably just lust. I don’t really want to talk about it, but I’ll just glance at it. I met her at after prom. I really met her at a couple of open houses. Anyway, to make a long story short, I felt miserable for a while, then I got a little bit better, now I’m okay.

I took a cathartic trip to Acton with a good friend who I’d later spend a lot of time with. Caleb tucker. Good dude, I owe my life to him.

My best friend moved to florida. That sucked.

I went to kings island on the last week of july. I really had a lot of fun, its when I started to move on from the end of my kind-of-sort-of-relationship. I enjoyed it! I got to become closer with some people that I loved, and learned to love later on in the year (I’m a douche.).

Roller coasters suck, so does being broke all the time.

Brandon walsh’s parties were dope. Always fun. He’s a good dude.

I went to orientation at iupui. My backup. The bane of my existence. My mockery for not being able to afford IU.

I was scared shitless. Soo many people. It felt like high school again, and not in the good way. The Oteam (the orientation squad) was set up like link crew, and I rocked the shit out of link crew, so I knew what was up. They were trying to get us comfortable, and I really wasn’t. I dunno, I didn’t want to be babied. I wanted to be thrown into a pool with sharks, and spoken to honestly. I don’t want that anymore.

I started school shortly after that. It was a weird feeling. I really hate meeting people. I don’t like what they think of me. I didn’t really like anyone in my classes. I later bonded with all of them. School is strange how it works sometimes. I learned the iupui campus well, and I learned to love it for what it was.

I also learned that I can apparently start a conversation with anyone. That’s a skill I’ll use this year, that’s for damn sure.

I made amends with someone who is cool, and should have done so a while ago.

I re-met a couple of kyooot girls (that probably never will read this!).

That is chronologically out of order.

Anyway, fall, or summer-lite rolled around. I was in school, I was in the grind. I didn’t like the grind, I still don’t. I had no free time. This is why I’ve been blogging so much, I’ve had free time.

I got to hang out with, and become friends with grace. Shes a good girl. I sent a lot of good time with her. I hope to continue this.

I changed the way I’ve looked at what I want to do for the rest of my life.

I went to the pileup. I had the best fucking time in the world at the hunnert car. I spray bombed my car, just so it would look okay for the hunert car. I’m a fucking poser wannabe customizer that rattle cans a car, but I don’t fucking care. I had fun. I should have spent time with some cool fucking people (Nick, Tom, Aaron, and the rest of you guys that don’t read this), but instead I spent time with dad, which I hadn’t been able to do.

That was an odd weak. MY starter tore the bendix off itself a week before the pile-up (after I spray bombed my car and wanted to cruise). Anyway, dad and I put the starter from his car, onto my car, then put a leftover starter on dads car. The reason being, dad doesn’t really need a starter, and his was new. I’ll get him back.

Anyway, as I’m loading the car up, and getting air and such, dad calls saying his harmonic separated. Anyway, he wasn’t going. So I sent a few text messages saying dad wasn’t going, and was waiting for him to tell me to pick him up.

He swung home, grabbed a harmonic, and I didn’t see him (I was loading up a car).

Anyway, he changed the harmonic on his car, and bitched at me for not being at the rendezvous point (he forgot to call me) on time.

Anyway, we took 36 there, it was the best drive I’ve ever had. It was beautiful with the changes of the season and everything. It was good time. The crew we were with had some car trouble, but nothing major. Neither dad’s car nor mine had any problems there or back.

My car got some decent exposure, since it was all in one colour. Again, not that it matters.

School was going strong then.

After that there was a lot of nothing. Untill wavves.

I was reading nuvo, and saw that wavves was coming to Bloomington. I was stoked.

I got a picture message of that article from caleb tucker, with the text “we’re going”

the fuck?

It was on.

Saw wavves, I made that post on here. It was one of the best experiences ever. Such a killer show.

Almost saw the thermals, but was too tired. I’m lame.

Anyway, that brings us to here. Essentially. I’ve been trying to talk with one of the kyoot girls that I’ve remet, and don’t know how that’s going. I’m not saying how I feel about anyone anymore.

next semester is starting soon and that’s scary. I was glad to meet and befriend everyone in my classes first semester.

I had a decent December. I think anyway. Chris is back in indy, I’m having some good old times. My car is shaping up. I’m excited for this new year. I really am. I don’t really know what to expect. I’m hoping for a lot of things this year, and if they come true, awesome.

I really think if I stop looking for love, I’ll find it, and that’s what sucks. I like the chase, not that I’m good at it, I just like it.

If I ever amount to anything, it will be because of 2011. I’m really going to try and do things that I want to do, and actually grow some balls. A skill that I’ve never really needed or wanted to need. I’m excited for how my car will look, I really am. I think its going to be tits.

I’m excited for spring, just so I can hopefully share time with someone I care about, and not be shivering outside. And someone I care about is open…ladies…I’m excited to get a new phone. My phone has made me start phonewatch. Its dying. I’m not sad about it, its lasted me a whole two years. Its lived a long, feature phone, life. This phone has seen a lot, and I’ll write about that next blog post. It won’t be THIS long, but close I bet.

In a few words I’ll hit 2000 words. 2000thword. Yeah, I’m sorry this is so long, and it’s the longest thing I’ve written all year. Rightfully so anyway.

If I forgot something that you, or You, want to talk about. I’ll talk about it in private. I never want anyone to think that I think ill of them. I love everyone in my life for some reason.

Thank you for reading. Merry Christmas, and happy new year.

Fifty-one.

Well, after this post, I have one left to go to hit my mark.

Strange, I'm holding up to a promise I made to myself.

I think the next post I make will essentially be a year in review. I can take it deep, or I can just let the bullet that was this year graze my life just one last time. We'll see what happens.

I worked today, it kind of sucked, but it was okay. I was tired as hell.

Also, got to hangout with a couple of my really good friends, it was nice being around people that I can hold a conversation with. By that, I mean just sprout off the dumbest shit, and have it understood.

I'm waking up from falling asleep at seven o'clock p.m., and my head hurts.

I'm gonna go back to sleep. I'll think about what to post next.

I remember...

When I was younger, I used to sit around and think about You. And though, I'm older, I still wonder where You are, and "do You think about me?". Though, the road has changed, we are still the same. I wish we could make it work, but You're already gone...Do you remember when You told me that You would love me forever? So how come now, when i see You, You act like You dont even know me

-Best Coast- The Road in paragraph form.

Just sayin'.

Yes its true I adore you.

And I can honestly say, for the first time, that "I'm not alone and you're all mine." So just drop it, and let's go back home.

Okay, I dunno, I just posted a few minutes ago. I know, two posts, one hour.

I just wanted to post about two things. Emo and heartache. Yeah, they're two things that I must love. It sucks.

Emo. Emotive hardcore, or Emo-pop whate'er you want to call it. I don't care. I just know that Vagrant records had a force choke on the pulse of the music that I love. HRC, TGUK, and bands that aren't on Vagrant such as Mineral, and Sunny Day Real Estate. Regardless, there is just something about listening to music that I can (sadly because I'm apparently eternally fourteen years old) relate to.

Listening to bands sing about love, and heartache and other assorted nuances of being post-adolescent and stuck in a Groundhogs Day-esque pattern of angst. I mean, its juts sad how my life has more angst and self-inflicted turmoil now than when I was fifteen. I also know that my fifteen year old self, would mock me. Then embrace me or hate me for a few different reasons.

Lines of lyrics just get to me. Such as TGUK's song Valentine, off of their seminal record Something to Write home about. "Apologies, are breaking me. Constants aren't so constant anymore." Or we could look at Remover by Hot Rod Circuit (HRC), "Hold you, let the sunset bleed through."

I know its lame, and I should be asking susie-q to the winter dance (NEON NIGHTS PMHS), and should be consdiering what colour of 1998 Chevy Cavalier to get, but instead I'm almost twenty years old and in college. Maybe its just because I didn't really act this way in my formative years, that I'm delayed emotionally and just now hitting the spot of me being a brooding wannabe artist. I dunno, maybe its that I'm just lonely. Maybe its the winter mood thats bringing me down.

Maybe its a lot of things, though this is fact. I like listening to emo. I don't care if that makes me lame.

I'm lazy

I'm also closing in on something that I was pretty sure I couldn't get done. I never would have thought that I'd be close to posting on here every single day this month. each post feels like I did it a week ago, I've also not read any of them after I post them (as I normally would have).

I dunno, I feel like this initiative made me change a little bit. It made me care less about what I said. It allowed me to lose myself, and not cling to the words I write like they're the last line of a film.

I dunno. I'm lazy.

Sunday

well, being that this is the last sunday of 2010, I feel that I should talk about current events in my life.

1. My phone is now taped together. I'm not exactly sure how long its gonna last, but I'm hoping for it to see 2012. I may not use it, but I just want it to last that long.

2. The rams might go to the play offs.

3.refer to 2.

4. I need to go buy books tomorrow

5. interior is at home

6. I don't want to do much of anything anymore

7. stoked for new years ever party.

In before midnight

Christmas day was good. Very good actually.

Went to my friend's house, got my interior and stuff, and looked at how awesome my car is going to be. Or is, I dunno, I like it anyway.

Essentially watched my brother build a sportster in a night.

Got and gave gifts.

Had a great breakfast.

Talked with people I care about.

It was a good day.

I need to go to bed.

I really do, I just cannot sleep.

someone tell me why I cannot sleep.

Thank you.

Rhythmically Assisted Poetry

That's right folks, Rap.

Now, I'm not going to divulge into the history, the intent or anything of actual substance. I'm just going to talk about rappers that I like.

Yup. Self-indulgent and worthless, just like the internet. Of course, if you're here reading this, then you may (or may not) care about my opinions on these matters. Anyway, I hope you enjoy them, and this is the last sentence of a preface about rap and hiphop.

Jay-Z
Don't really need to say anything here. He's paid his dues and he's getting paid now. His early stuff was great, his work in the early 2000s (i.e. the black album) set him in stone as one of the most important rappers ever.

G-Eazy
He sampled Marathon by Tennis. Tennis is one of my favorite bands, with marathon being one of my favorite songs of the summer. I don't care what else he does, he's a genius. You can find the work online.

Childish Gambino
Donald, Troy, or whatever else you want to call him. He's great. Simply great with words. His cover of Girls Lust For Life was interesting (and good).

Yoni Wolf/Why?
Alopecia is a rap record, if you don't like it you, foff. Lyrically speaking, Yoni wolf is a genius. Musically speaking, likewise. Alopecia is one of the most sincere rap records ever. Just look at Fall of Mr. fifths, or Good Friday. Simply great.

Snoop Dogg
Gin and Juice, and his work with the Doctor, made his career. I don't care much about anything else, but he's good.

Shwayze
Will you be my corona and lime? Katie P. got me into shwazy, pretty neat stuff.

Cee Lo Green
Fuck you. Cee Lo is quite possibly the versatile artist in popular music right now, and he deserves all of the credit that he gets.

Well, thats a short list, I don't really know what else to talk about.

If you want to send my some suggestions on who to listen to, just hit me up on here or facebook.

I confess.

I messed up. Dropping "I'm sorry"s like you're still around. And I know you dressed up, "Hey, kid, you'll never live this down". And you're just the girl all the boys wanna dance with, and I'm just the boy who's had too many chances. I'm sleeping on your folk's porch again, dreaming. She said, she said, she said "Why don't you just drop dead?"

I don't blame you for being you, but you can't blame me for hating it So say, "What are you waiting for? Kiss her, kiss her." I set my clocks early, 'cause I know I'm always late

Yes, that is a fallout boy song. I don't even care. I can relate to it, it reminds me of a cool night and its also a neat song.

I care way too much about things no one gives a damn about, and I'm okay with it.

I don't know what else to say. So it goes.

Rap blog later today. G-G-Get ready for it.

Today

I didn't get much done. Katie is coming home, which is kind of rad. Chris is too. Had some good conversations.

I'm gonna blog about rap tomorrow, and a few other things. I need to catch up. Remember kids 52.

Monday, December 20, 2010

I've lapsed

and now I've some catching up to do.

did a bunch today, got spears for my car, dropped a book off, fought a snow storm, and almost died four times.

I also bought my mom her christmas gift. All in all it was a good day

Saturday, December 18, 2010

Today was a good day.

Thank you for asking.

Woke up late, which was rad. I showered, and went to work. Work actually was pretty fun today, good times were had. Anyway, after work, I went to Jamie's party. It was rad, got to talk with people that I've not seen in so long, and I got to have a good conversation with some good individuals.

Got my new, old, front end on my scooter. Dad threw some z-bars on 4 inch risers. I think it looks dumb. He says its traditional and looks cool. We'll see, he also says six inch risers and drag bars. I think I'm gonna throw the drag bars on the four inch risers, then try the six inch risers. I don't really want any rise on the bike, to keep it as low as humanly possible. I dunno, risers are growing on me. Maybe Mini-apes? I dunno, so many options! I can't wait to get my wheel set up for it.

In other news, I've no-idea how my car is going. Well, I presume 'cause its in the most capable hands ever. I better check on that monday. When I get that back, I've an interesting photo shoot in my head. After I throw the trim and have the car actually back together, I'll post pixxx of what I want to do. I mean, its only going to be cool to me. But Foff world, thats all I care about anymore. Shelfish as an oayster. Get'it?

oh, in case you're wondering, I'm finishing my car up. Kinda'.

I've been snowbound. I'm going to hate winter.

Two Stories

One Post.

Anyway, So I was thinking about a lot of stuff last night when I was typing furriously away at the keyboard to knock that last post out. And I remembered a couple of good stories, sparked by that same shuffle on my zune.

Man Or Astroman? And me sanding on the fenders of a '54 merc. There seems to be a pattern of what I do, or like to do in the winters. Anyway, I learned on that car that having a block is a good idea when sanding.

The ataris also popped on, and I vaguely remember (high on paint fumes), taking apart, and putting together an interior in a '54 ford. A very good friend, chris mcghee, was there for a lot of it. He saw most of it come apart, helped me with looking at stuff and taking stuff apart. Looked at the dash and garnish moldings after they got painted. Helped me put the interior back in for the first time. Saw my garnish moldings when I got them from Shoe's. And watched me put a lot of it all back together.

I dunno, just some stories. I think its safe to say that my life revolves around music, cars, and friends. I dunno. I thought this post was gonna be longer, maybe next time.

Thursday, December 16, 2010

God I hope noone reads this anymore.

Anyway, I guess this is happening tonight. A catharsis.

I accidentally put my zune on shuffle, and Best Coasts "When I'm with you" came on. I couldn't help think of all the fun I had this summer. I also couldn't help but think about what a disheveled mess I was at the end. I also couldn't help but think of you.

Anyway, I just started thinking about all of the fun I had, to just that song. I couldn't help but thinking of cruising to it, while it was blasting out of my stereo. I couldn't help but think of the warmth of the sun, and just having fun.

I also remembered hanging out with my best friend, and beating the absolute hell out of a couple of harleys. Now I can't help but think of graduation, and that night. I think of how I felt then, how I felt so small. I felt as worthless then as I do now, but thats besides the point.

The funny thing is, the songs kept rolling on this shuffle. Its like this damn zune has a memory. Hot Rod Circuit, Metric, The Beach Boys, The Sonics, The Thermals., Wavves, all of it kept coming on, and made me think of all of my life.

I remember going to kings island, and being kind of pissed about blowing money that I could have spent on my car. In hindsight, the memory was worth it. I'll never forget being with all of you.

No culture Icons popped on, by the thermals, and I thought of this semester. Seeing as this record was in my constant rotation for three weeks, and its only thirty minutes long, I fell in love with everything about it. The time marks all of it.

I don't know why I feel the way I do. I really don't. I had a killer summer, and one minor set back (well two if you count fucking my harley up..), and I was going to have bitter memories. Why? Why do I obsess over negative times when I should embrace those that made my life good. Good for those moments in time.

Its damn funny how memories are triggered, and I wrote a paper freshman year of high school about songs that are important because of memories. Its odd how I'd write it differentially now, and how I'd mean it.

I loved you.

If that sentences touches you, then I'm sorry because make damn sure that my tenses are kept in order.

I love you.

If that means something to you, then it mean something to me. Whatever that is, whoever you are. I mean it.

What all of this boils down to, is that I had a good summer. I want to keep writing about all of this. I had a broken heart, or maybe it was just sprained. I wept, like Yoni Wolf would want me to. I obsess over people, over things, over ideas and anything in between. I'm sorry if I'm fucked up. I mean well, and I've a big heart. I'm submissive. Thats my flaw.

I'm not smart, honest maybe, but not smart.

I listen to pavement just to help me remember what it felt like to be innocent. So many fortresses and ways to attack.
I listen to wavves, because I want to be.

I'll fall in love with any girl with a pretty face, and kind words. Regardless of how much they mean them.

I'm glad that I've about four friends that I can count on to keep me in line, and keep me from doing things I'll regret later. You know who you are. If you have to ask yourself if you are one of those people, you aren't.

I'm boring. I'm sorry. I'm only interesting on paper. I mean, unless you really want to know that someone cares about how much the song "Last Dance" by the raveonettes means to them, or how much someone loves '36 ford three windows (or why a certain '54 ford is amazing), then I really have nothing interesting to say.

I'm just going to keep writing.

My world is a reflection of how I feel and the mood I'm in.
"I had a broken heart, or maybe it was just sprained."

A dear friend wrote that line, I promised I'd plagiarize it.

In the end, this isn't the end. Winter is a drag though, and I want summer back. I want to go cruise, regardless of how lame that sounds. I just want to be with you. I just want summer back. I want to listen to the white stripes and speed down bluff. I want to listen to My blood Valentine and stare at the stars with you. You said you'd be down.

I've another post like this coming again. It'll probably be up tomorrow, its about a year ago. Or two. It must be two. Well two stories, like the building. I've got two stories, one about sanding, and one about putting my interior in for the first time. They both involve my best friend, and they're both before I met you. Or is it before I met you. You decide. It is really subjective of who "you" are to decide if we met before or after that fact, isn't it?

You hate me being vague.

Good night.

You're as cool as ice-cream

Bang!

Anyway, I've not left my house. No. I've not put my contacts in, thats what winter is doing to me. I don't care that I don't have transportation until the snow melts, I don't care at all. All I care about now is funnnnn. I'm kidding. I don't even know what the hell is up anymore.

Though, I do have a trunk seal, hood seal, and new hood bumpers. I'm excited.

Anyway, I've been ex-communicated from nearly everyone today, its kind of awesome in my own recluse way. I'll get used to it.

I'll miss all of you until we have to cross paths again.
Which probably means when the snow melts and I have a car I can drive again.

Jeanettes show was awesome

Thats really all I have to say. It was really really good, thanks jeanette!

About to fall asleep

and I'm listening to the raveonettes. Thinking. Thinking about my life, and about the world that I know. Its not that I can't sleep, its that I don't really want to. I like being awake, and alive.

I think that love is a bittersweet experience. Highs and lows. Eternally.

Au Revoir

Love

Is a deadly weapon.

I sit here on this sunny, winter, day alone. I really don't want to be alone, yet I know in my heart of hearts that I need to be. Right now anyway. I don't know what I'm looking for, or who I'm looking for anymore. I just want to find a girl that is fun to talk with, and loves me as much as I her. I don't really think that is impossible, but studies have shown it unlikely.

Regardless, I'll sit and wait. For her, and for my own idle laziness to stream away. I can quote any hip, indie rock band, and hide behind their lyrics and music. I can dazzle you and spin you dizzy with diction and my bastardized approach of syntax. I can seem insane, I can seem intelligent. I just want you, whoever you may be, to know that I love you. I'll find you. No, you'll find me, and it will be magical. Just don't let me hide behind music or words; I will cower.

Au revoir.

Monday, December 13, 2010

You keep me waiting...

Thats why I'm still around...

anyway, just thought I'd throw more up here, I need to reach my goal.

I think I get to see my car tomorrow. Its done with tin work, and is now getting ready to cover it with an inch of bondo! Nah. Never again. I doubt there will be too much mud going on the car, but a lot will get mixed and sanded off.

I miss a lot of people and things right now, but it just hit me that I miss my car the most. I can't wait to see the fucker. I'll post some pixxx. soon. Nudes too, so watch out kids.

I want a new phone.

Schooools out...

For Aboutthreeweeks! Not the same ring as forever, but its okay.

Took a four hour nap. Fuck, yes.

Anyway, I'm kinda bummed with my English grade, I mean, I was expecting a not-so-good-grade, but I was sorta hoping I'd pull an A out. I mean, a B+ on my final portfolio makes my grade a High B or a low A, but still, I was pulling for an A.

I might go back to sleep. :/

Adventures in Breaking Things

Sometimes there are lucky breaks, sometimes bad things happen. It'll always be alright.

I got off work on a saturday at about four, and parked my car behind my moms car. Dad calls me, and tells me that he's bringing home some chicken, and to make sure my car isn't behind mom's, 'cause she has to do something. Anyway, no big deal, hop in my car, fire it up move it. Dad gets home, everything is chill, I eat then decide that I'm gonna go cruise, and try and get with this girl. Now, this is also a week before the pile-up, and I had just spray bomb'd my car, so I think I'm a million bucks.

I hop in my car. And like a routine, hit the gas a couple of times, and hit the starter. Whirrrrrr. Hit it again, whiirrrrrr. "uh-oh" I go, then get a rubber mallet out of desperation, and tried to whack the guy into submission. Nope. Pretty sure the bendix decided to come apart. Well, Good. Its a week before the pile-up, plans are ruined for the night, no big deal. Dad rip the starter out of his car, give it to me, we put it in, then put in an old starter into dads car. Everything good again.

Saturday, as I wake up, and load my car up to go to the pile-up, dad calls me to tell me that his harmonic has spun on his way to work, and he doesn't think he can go anymore. Son of a bitch. BFD, sucks to be him, but I'll give him a ride there, can't leave dad at home. So I keep loading my car up.

I get a call at noon asking where the hell I'm at. Well, dad forgot to tell me that he somehow came home, got another harmonic, pulled the old one and installed the new old one at work, then went to meet up the friends we were leaving with, and forgot to call me to tell me that he was still going.

Anyway, so we go have fun at the pile up,and neither car skipped a beat.

Three inches...

Foff snow, seriously. One of the things that I've romanticized to the point of insanity, is cramping my style. I just want to be able to go places, and do things. I feel like I'm 12 and can't go to the mall, and by mall I mean drive myself to university tomorrow.

I've some catching up to do...

Okay, two days, its okay. I'm Skyping with someone as I write this that is awesome. Or as my f200 class knows my spelling as awesem. Yes, I can't spell. If you don't know that, you don't know me.

Anyway, I've worked a ton this week, I'm gonna hit like 34 hours, its gonna be mega. I'm so broke!

Anyway, tomorrow, before I do my homework, I'm gonna record Frankie and the Outs-s/t record, I've been listening to it a lot. I may also whore out the band my brother is in, by reviewing their EP.

Anyway. I gotta go have a conversation.

My Last Wednesday

Alive...
No, just as a first semester freshman.
Feels weird, there was a playing portion of the final and me and my partner went second, then got to split. So, not leaving as a class, and after fourteen weeks I'd finally started warming up to a few people in that class. It was a good note to end on. Pun intended. I better get an A.

Between Classes

I'm listening to the Ataris, and I think thats what I need right now. Punk rock loves songs about relationships ("and how they went wrong"). Getting ready for my final in my guitar class.

I don't know what I want anymore, but I know i want it to be warm. I love the winter, and the winter mood, but I don't like the cold.

I can't wait until break, I'll get so much stuff done.

Anyway, a record review might happen tonight after I edit me paper for my f110 class.
Much love.

I'm tired

I really am.

I'm piss broke, and I'm trying to paint a car. Whats wrong with this picture?

Anyway, I'll review a record tomorrow. School has been breaking me, and it sort of sucks. But oh well. I just hope I didn't ruin my AC adaptor.

Au revoir.

Snowflake Crash; Beach Party Bash

I wanna throw a party. We'll just listen to summer records and talk about how hot it is. Next year maybe I can get some surf bands or something to play and have it at a different place? I dunno, I just want to have a good time in the winter, probably after Tennis' record comes out.

I am Jack's cold heart.

So, I had an adventure with my sister and her boyfriend. I left my phone at home. I did so at the sake of being liberated from my device. I loved it.

Also, I had a great time hanging around them, and I really will miss them when they leave for their home tomorrow. I like their company.

I feel like my life is a serious of fortunate events. My pitfalls rest solely on my own shoulders, and I feel that I can (and will) over come them.

I think I've finally realized that I am an adult, and have intellectual weight. I also love listening and exploring ideas in an open forum. I love listening. I love all of you. Good night.

P.s. I want to review a record, I just haven't listened to anything really "New" recently, so it may just be a new track or an old record. Maybe tomorrow? I've plans, but we will see.
