I found out about this band through a little known web portal that goes by the name of YouTube. I know, not many people use that, but I think it will catch on. I digress.
According to what I've read, and seen about this band, the name aspires from when the singer, John Barrett, would play guitar and simply use a bass drum. Similar to the likes of Bob Bleed, or King Khan and the BBQ show, very minimalist and primal. Very cool. Though, despite its greatness, very limiting. So, with the inclusion of a real drummer, they brought a record to the table. GB city. The song that I was opened up to this band was "Get Found" which I will link later. All in all, its a very good garage rock record, if you like Ty Segall, King Khan and the BBQ show, the Oblivians, Jay Reatard, the Smith Westerns, or even Wavves, you will really like this record.
Get found,
Wesley

i'd agree, it is quite limiting. Still, it's cool that there is so little going on but it feels and sounds more complicated than it is.
