Anyway, so I promised the return of music, and this will kind of be that. I've another band camp post I'll post in the short future, but this is about live music.

As many people know, I live in Indianapolis, and its not exactly the mecca for all ages shows, and I'm only 19, so that limits me.

The Pains of being pure at heart are playing a youth center in bloomington, a WEEK after Culture Shock. So thats a bunch of bands that I'm super stoked to see.

PAins will be playing with Twin Shadows.

Culture shock will have Beach fossils, Ty Segall, and a bunch of other badassmotherfuckers. Oh, and I'm taking this girl too, nbd.

Anyway, April isn't for fools.

Anyway, I really need to get back to my school work, I just want to let my reader(s) know that tomorrow I'll blow this thing up with a few posts.

Crazy weekend was Crazy

Okay. It all started when...

I'm cutting out a lot of details here, but this lovely lady and myself went to Muncie to see a band called Scales, but what we didn't know (or atleast I didn't know), there would be a band from Kentucky playing called the Pass.

They were so great!

They really were great!

But more importantly, I just had fun. Also, sleeping in a car is harder than it looks, especially when its colder than balls.

I've got to go study. I'll have more fun details about what happened, awesome dance times, and an adventure in seeing people that look like Graham.

Lets motervate!

With spring coming around the bend, and my bike torn apart waiting to get a wheel situated, and me to get off of my lazy ass and give it a once-over and an oil change, I'll be rolling in my car for a while.

The thing is, the car is torn apart.

I'm changing that. I've got a couple of holes left to drill and I've got to prime the holes to seal everything up, wait on trim clips from my dear friend Nick at Profasten (use his stuff, A+ quality, A+ customer service, even if the customers suck(Like me!)), and then slap the trim on, back seat in, and roll.

I'm leaving the door panels off, because I don't want to mess them up when I swap transmissions next month.

So, thats my life.

I've not been this excited about using an internet browser as I was when I got firefox for the first time.

I might try chrome, but as of now I'm a firefox fan.

P.s. Not stoked for spring break to end, as busy as it was, it was probably the best break yet. It'll have tough competition though, with this summer coming up.

Ambition!

Is fleeting. This looks neat though, and I'm stoked by how it'll come out, but i just wish it was easier.

I just need to finish these, which means drilling the final hole for the spear in the quarter panel, and then doing it again on the other side. They will look awesome

In Before Bed

Okay, today, as a whole, was pretty awesome. Considering today consists of the past two days jammed together, its especially awesome.


I recorded notes over a book for a project tonight, and I need to write a couple of papers tomorrow, not looking forward to that.

Also need to put the rest of my trim back on my car, and do a bunch of other stuff.

Oh well, I'm really tired, so I'm going to go to bed now.

My first concert

I was around five or so, maybe younger. Anyway, I was a pop-hound by association at this point, between dad constantly pumping beach boys and jan and dean tunes through the stereo in the garage, I had already developed atleast a little interest in 60's pop. Anyway, Jan and dean came to indy for some oldies radio station (104.5) thing. They weren't the same, quite obviously because one almost died and they are now both really old.

Regardless, I dunno, thats probably why I like surf pop so much, despite how awesome it is, it lets me go back into my childhood.

Anyway, listen to this. I've got shit to do besides blog.

Okay, I left a lot of important details out.

Last night was a lot of fun.

Thats pretty much all the details I'm willing to put into a public forum, that and I really like listening to best coast with somone.

Oh! Culture shock 2011 is going to kick some serious ass. I'm beyond excited to go see Beach Fossils. I'll see everyone else, but I 'm really excited for beach fossils.

Also, Japan. I sincerely hope, despite of all the jokes that I've cracked, that it recovers in a timely manner.
