Modern Day Hype Machine Vol.1

This record drops very soon, and I know there is a major buzz about it on a bunch of different blogs, but I will perpetuate the hype machine.

I'm beyond stoked to nab this, on vinyl of course. This is going to snap a lot of people out of winter, for atleast a half hour anyway.

After the unbelievable success of their EP Baltimore lo-fi pop up-and-commers Tennis put their foot in the door of the music world, and gave us all the Anthem to summer in their hit "Marathon." This LP is essentially Baltimore + a bunch of other tunes, which I'm okay with, 'cause I never bought Baltimore.


So, I think next week, I'll hype a-somewhat-local band in Apache Dropout, as if I've not hyped them on any other social networking site, or this blog, for that matter.

I'm digging these weekly things.
